Position Summary:
Located in Tahoe Vista. Customer-facing food service role in which the primary responsibility is to serve ice cream and related desserts while maintaining a friendly, efficient, and professional service environment. The job requires strong interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
Job Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Completing opening and closing duties timely and thoroughly
- Provide service that is detailed, attentive and efficient
- Checking accuracy and quality of food delivered
- Sufficient knowledge of food menu and food allergies
- Using proper serving techniques
- Present on the floor during hours of food service
- Support the team
- Ability to multitask while working efficiently and fast-paced
- Attention to detail: lights, thoroughness, cleanliness, safety, etc.
- Provide warm hospitality, professional advice and assistance to all patrons
- Be informed
- Keep customer satisfaction in mind when making all decisions
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Martis Camp standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the Club
- Comply at all times with Martis Camp standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient Club operations
- Perform other duties as required by your manager
Requirements:
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Must be open to occasional overtime in peak periods
- Must be able to stand/walk for 4-6 hours at a time and 8-10 hours total per shift
- Must be able to safely carry up to 30lbs
- Must be able to repeatedly reach/bend/kneel/pull/push to assist with product storage, cleaning duties and food and beverage maintenance
WAGE RANGE: $18 per hour
