POSITION SUMMARY:  
We are looking for someone special to join our team as a Comfort Station Bartender. This isn't just about serving drinks and snacks on the golf course; it's about crafting an unforgettable moment for every single member and guest who steps into our comfort station.

  • Create cocktails with care and consistency: Ensure bar is stocked appropriately, cocktails are made correct to recipes, and drinks are served responsibly.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Provide warm hospitality, professional advice, and assistance to all patrons
  • Provide service that is detailed, attentive, and efficient
  •  Completing opening and closing duties timely and thoroughly
  • Understanding of food and drink menu offered at each location
  • Using accurate liquor and wine pours
  • Tracking and stocking of alcohol and snack inventory
  • Ability to multitask while working efficiently in a fast-paced position that may have extended periods of downtime
  • Keep the members’ experience and satisfaction in mind when making all decisions
  • Demonstrate consistent compliance with all Martis Camp standards and policies          
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Approach all encounters with members, guests and fellow Ambassadors in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner with complete respect for their feelings.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must be California Food Handlers Safe Certified or obtain this qualification
    • Must obtain the California Responsible Beverage Service(RBS) Training, also known as California ABC Certification
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1+ year of food and beverage experience preferred
  • 1+ year of bartending experience preferred
  • Ability to interact and develop positive relationships within the organization
  • Maintain high ethical and moral standards
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and guest service skills
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 40 lbs
  • Must be able to repeatedly reach/bend/kneel/pull/push/stoop/climb stairs to assist with product storage, cleaning duties, and food and beverage service
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative work environment utilizing various technologies such as telephone, radio, computer, web, voice, email, POS
AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand/walk for 4-6 hours at a time and 8-10 hours total per shift
  • Must be open to working occasional overtime  during peak seasonal periods

WAGE AND BENEFITS:

  • Hourly wage of $21.00- $23.00 /hour plus gratuities 
  • One complementary employee meal per day
